O2 Fitness in the Triangle Offers Great Fitness Classes and Amenities

O2 fitness has been open for just a few weeks, but already we’ve noticed a few things that we really love. They have outdoor fitness classes and are committed to keeping their gyms clean and safe. Employees wear face masks to protect their health from germs, and the facility even closes for a deep cleaning in the middle of the day.

Free access to the entire facility

If you’re in the Triangle area, you can take advantage of free access to the entire O2 Fitness facility, which offers a range of fitness classes and amenities. Unlike other gyms, there are no obligations or credit cards required. Plus, you can take advantage of a great member store and other benefits. Not only can you exercise at your own pace, but you can take advantage of exclusive classes and trainers.

O2 Fitness Wake Forest has been in operation for just under a year. Its 33,000-square-foot fitness club has three studios for a variety of fitness activities. Other features include a functional training turf, physiotherapy, group fitness classes, and a kids’ club. The facility is open seven days a week, from early morning to late evening.

Workout buddies

Diet plan

The O2 fitness diet plan is based on the ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) scale, which measures the antioxidant content of foods. Instead of calories, you’ll consume a certain number of ORAC points for each food. The highest-ranking foods include leafy greens, blueberries, salmon, and herbs and spices. You can follow the ORAC plan by eating three meals a day.

The O2 fitness gym also offers a personalized training program. Its trainers specialize in a wide variety of areas. As a member, you’ll receive two free sessions with a trainer. You can also use the gym’s childcare service to care for young children while you workout. The cost of the service is just $10 per month.

Classes

Locations

There are 10 O2 Fitness locations in the Triangle. These include the flagship Mayfaire location in Wilmington and the Porters Neck location. As of last year, the Wilmington locations totaled around 15,000 members. O2 Fitness has plans to open at least one additional Wilmington location within the next two years. Members of the existing Mayfaire and Porters Neck locations will be able to keep their rates.

The gyms at O2 Fitness locations are clean and well-maintained. Individual stalls are available for changing and showering. The weight floor is well equipped. There is also a swimming pool. While the facilities are not large, they are very inviting.
